UK Visit Visa applicants need to show that they will return to the Philippines on or before the lapse of their allowed stay in the UK, in order for their application to be approved by the ECO.
ECO-Friendly explains that this can be established by submitting documents that will demonstrate the applicant's motivation to come back to the Philippines such as:
1. Properties (real or personal) 2. High-paying salary 3. Profitable Business 4. A loving family left behind in the Philippines 5. Other circumstances or pending activities which is hard to leave behind in the Philippines
ECO-Friendly adds that the applicant must also show that he or she has the financial capacity to visit and tour the UK. This is very important since the main question which is always asked by the ECO is, "...can this applicant for a UK Visit Visa afford to purchase a round-trip ticket and finance his or her accommodation and other expenses while in the UK?"
The best evidence to prove the economic standing of the applicant is submission of certificates issued by a bank certifying the present amount of deposit, as well as the length of period in which the applicant has been a depositor with the said banking institution.
Other important pieces of documents which would show financial capacity of the applicant are:
payslips
Income tax returns
Evidence of other income generating revenues such as receipts from rental business, certificates of stocks, etc.
ECO-Friendly would like to stress that all documents presented must be in its original copy, together with a photocopy. After a decision has been reached, all the originals will be sent back to the applicant.
