Good News!
ECO-Friendly has observed a slight decrease in the visa fee for applications for UK Spouse Visa, UK Fiancée Visa and other UK Settlement Visa fee which we noticed since way back in June of this year.
Last June 2016, the standard visa fee for a UK Settlement Visa (either a UK Spouse Visa or a UK Fiancée Visa) applying from the Philippines was US$1,816.
It dropped to $1,625 in September, while last November, the visa fee for a UK Spouse Visa or UK Fiancée Visa was down to $1,506.
ECO-Friendly computed that the UK visa fees for a UK Spouse Visa or UK Fiancée Visa dove to a total amount of $310 or a whopping 17.2% in five (5) months!
Aside from the UK Settlement Visa fee, ECO-Friendly also monitored drops in the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) which used to be $912 for a standard UK Spouse Visa or UK Fiancée Visa application last June this year.
The IHS was lowered to $816 in September, and again dipped to $756 only last month (November).
ECO-Friendly does not know whether this downward trend will continue in the Philippines but this is definitely good news to Filipino applicants planning to apply for the UK Spouse Visa, UK Fiancée Visa or any other UK Settlement Visa in the near future.
